Tanya Sherise Odums is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, specializing in the treatment of depression and trauma. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and has over 25 years of experience working with NYC’s most vulnerable populations in a variety of private and city institutions.
She is the founder of KhepeRa Counseling and Consulting Licensed Clinical Social Work Services and HYPE: Helping Young People Excel, Inc.
Tanya is a former professor of Psychology and Human Services at Touro College and the City University of New York; and former Adjunct Lecturer for New York University’s Silver School of Social Work Advanced Trauma-Informed Clinical Practice Program.
Tanya is a Mental Health Mentor and Transformation Coach, who helps people turn their trauma into triumph through taking responsibility for their lives: teaching them how to master their minds, and manage depression, so they can craft the lives they want and deserve.
